Video storage without Wi-Fi/4G network (UBox)

Video storage when camera is offline

A micro SD card is necessary if you want the camera to store motion detection recordings without a network.

Without a network connection, the camera cannot synchronize the correct time. As a result, recordings will not have a correct timestamp and will be saved under a default date.
All recordings made while the camera is offline will be stored with this default date instead of the actual recording date.

Usually, the default date will be January 1, 2021 (or December 31, 2020). To check your camera’s default date, you can remove the micro SD card and read it on your computer.
You should find a folder or file labeled with a very old date — all offline recordings are saved there.
