OKAM Wi-Fi Battery Camera Adjust Recording Length (O-KAM Pro app)
Steps to adjust cloud recording length:
-
For cloud recordings, go to the camera's settings page → "Working Mode" and scroll down to "Video Recording Period".
-
Or, go to the camera's settings page → "Monitoring Functions" → "Recording Duration".
-
You can select 5, 10, 15, or 30 seconds for the cloud video recording length.
-
If motion continues after a recording ends, the camera will automatically start a new recording and continue capturing the activity.
-
Please note that the "Recording Duration" setting applies only to videos saved to cloud storage. If "Cloud Video Recording" is turned off in "Monitoring Functions", the "Recording Duration" option will not be displayed.
For videos saved to the memory card:
-
For recordings stored on the micro SD card, motion-triggered videos are saved in 10-second segments by default.
-
However, the card playback page displays recordings on a continuous timeline. When downloading a card video, the app will ask you to select a time range on the timeline. The length of the downloaded video depends on the time range you select.
-
Please pay attention to the timestamps in downloaded videos. In the default "Power Saving Mode", the camera sleeps between motion events to save battery power. As a result, a downloaded card video may be a combination of multiple motion-triggered clips, and there may be time gaps between some scenes.
-
If you need uninterrupted recordings during motion events, switch to "Continuous Recording" or "Smart Sleep Mode" (depending on the camera model) under "Working Mode".
