OKAM Notification Issues Troubleshooting (O-KAM Pro app)
To receive alerts when activity is detected, check the following:
• Phone app permissions — Allow the app to send notifications in your phone’s settings.
• Camera settings in the app — Motion detection and notification must be enabled.
• Notification limits — from app and phone.
Phone app permissions:

Open your phone's Settings.

Scroll down to find Apps.

Scroll down to find the app O-KAM Pro. Make sure notifications permission for this app is enabled.

Camera settings:

Open the O-KAM Pro app.

Tap the preview footage to enter the live view page of your camera.

Tap the gear icon (top-right).

Tap Notification Settings, and make sure Push Notification is enabled.
App Notification Limits:
• To prevent excessive notifications, the app limits push alerts to 500 notifications per day. When the limit is reached, push notifications are automatically disabled. The bell icon on the homepage will appear disabled and display "Resume Alerts".
• To restore notifications, tap the bell icon and follow the prompts to re-enable alert notifications.

Phone Notification Limits:
• Some Android phones limit how many notifications an app can display at the same time. If too many notifications accumulate, new alerts may not appear until older ones are cleared.
• This limitation depends on the phone model and Android version. iPhones (iOS) usually do not have this limitation.
• To avoid this issue, clear old notifications from the notification panel regularly. Tap "Clear all" or swipe left on notifications in the notification panel to remove old notifications.
